When I try to upload images I keep getting this error. I am using WordPress version 2.6.2.

I agree - I have this bug too. Be great to get it fixed.

And also be great to be able to upload images direct to the gallery rather than only via the posts/pages.

For instance, I am adding images to links, and need them resized…

any body solve the problem ?

Yes same bug is there and is that there no admin to reply for this issue ?

We hope for this admin will reply with fixing code, 

same here on 2.6.3, but only on a blog in a subdomain. still working on another installation which is in the root

I think i fixed it

add this function:

function media_admin_css() {
    wp_admin_css(’css/media’);
}

to media.php file located in

/your-wp-folder/wp-admin/includes/

 i’m new to wp and wanted something easy with lots of plugins…aint nothing easy..

i agree this is a great plugin , the problem is it`s compatibile with v.2.5 and in 2.6.3 (i use) 

function media_admin_css does not exist .so i copied it from wp 2.5 and it  seems to work.

use it on your risk though as i was just shooting in the dark , dont know wp at all and dont really want to dig in it all that much.

Well, I got rid of the first error message, but got this instead:

do not copy paste code from here.

this forum automaticaly replaces single quotation marks with ‘

put regular single quotation marks around css/media in the function

I just installed the Flexible Upload plugin and immediately got the same error message. Googled it and found my way to this thread. Copied and installed the fix (above) and it instantly solved the problem. All within about five minutes! Thank you so very much!
